What 𘬣 means
In Khitan, the gender marking follows the grammatical gender of the word being counted; the quantity stays the same.
Khitan Small Script was created around 925 to write the Khitan language; its design is traditionally linked to Uyghur script, the writing system used for Uyghur. Surviving examples include funerary epitaphs (grave inscriptions), monuments, bronze mirrors, tallies (objects used to record counts), coins not intended for circulation, and a jade cup.
Khitan Small Script coexisted with Khitan Large Script during the Liao, Western Liao, and Jin periods. Later Jurchen small-script inscriptions copied the Khitan script’s cluster layout. The writing could run vertically or horizontally, and some character clusters need software that positions the signs together.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘬣 show as a box on some devices?
It is recent: Unicode added it in version 13.0 (2020), and phones and computers whose fonts are older than that have nothing to draw it with. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
