What 𘮶 means
The script mixed signs for whole words with signs for sounds. A logogram stands for a whole word; a phonogram represents a sound.
Logograms generally appeared alone, while phonograms usually formed multi-character clusters spelling a word. Inside a cluster, signs were read left to right and then top to bottom, even when the surrounding text ran in vertical columns from right to left.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘮶 show as a box on some devices?
It is recent: Unicode added it in version 13.0 (2020), and phones and computers whose fonts are older than that have nothing to draw it with. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
