What ꓗ means
It writes the k consonant in Lisu.
Lisu is spoken by communities in China, Myanmar, Thailand, and India. The Fraser script is one way to write it: between 1908 and 1914, Ba Thaw reshaped Latin letters to start the script, and Fraser and Lisu pastors later revised it for Christian texts. Mark's Gospel had been translated by 1917; early Christian writing also included a catechism.
The Fraser script later supported Lisu education, publishing, media, and religious writing. In China, it was especially associated with Christian Lisu communities, while non-Christian communities especially used a newer spelling system based on pinyin, the Latin-letter system used for Mandarin. Chinese authorities recognized the Fraser script in 1992.

1Questions people ask
1Why does ꓗ show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Lisu block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
