What 𝋠 means
It means zero; Maya dates can place it at month boundaries. On the Haab, a solar calendar, the month Pop’s boundary is transcribed as 0 Pop. This zero can mark Pop’s “seating” (arrival), though researchers disagree whether that means Pop’s first day or the previous month’s last.
The Long Count, a running count of days for historical dates and sky cycles, developed across southern Mesoamerica; its beginnings are debated. A fragmentary date at Chiapa de Corzo is sometimes read as 36 BCE, but it does not securely show a written zero. An explicit Maya zero appears at Uaxactun by 357 CE.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𝋠 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Mayan Numerals block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
