What 𑊈 means

It is a consonant that belongs inside words. Multani is a Landa script, part of a family of South Asian scripts. It is related to Gurmukhi and more distantly to Khudawadi and Khojki. It served everyday and commercial writing; its first printed book appeared in 1819.

By the latter half of the 19th century, British administrators introduced Arabic script as the standard for Sindh’s languages, helping displace Multani. Specimens from 1819–1916 show varied printed and handwritten forms; they are styles of one letter, which fonts may draw differently.
