What 𛉽 means
It represents a spoken syllable, not a picture-word. Unicode's Nüshu reading entry gives tsiong13, a Latin-letter pronunciation label. Several spoken words can share a Nüshu sign, so surrounding text supplies the intended word.
Why did women use Nüshu?
It let local women write their speech and share it with one another. Nüshu grew as women adapted Han characters—the standard Chinese writing system—for Jiangyong speech. They sang texts at gatherings, embroidered them, and exchanged cloth-bound wedding booklets. It entered wider public study in the 1980s; UNESCO described revival efforts in 2017.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𛉽 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
