What 𛊐 means
It marks a sound, not one fixed word.
Jiangyong is a county in Hunan; the Nüshu list gives tci5 and groups it with several words pronounced alike.
Nüshu carried women's speech into writing
Women in Jiangyong used Nüshu for songs, letters between sworn sisters (close friends), and wedding booklets given to brides three days after marriage; many could not write Chinese characters. Nüshu signs draw on Chinese characters but mainly record sounds.
An inscribed bronze coin from the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom (1851–1864), the earliest known Nüshu artifact, says women everywhere are one family; the first written account is from 1931. A Hunan government report from 2025 describes public lessons and preservation.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𛊐 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
