What ⌖ means
It marks a position or a point to aim at.
This crosshair symbol can stand for a reticle—the crosshair in an aiming sight—accuracy, or positional tolerance. In engineering, “true position” is where a feature on a part is meant to sit; positional tolerance is how far it may stray from that spot.
When ⌖ arrives alone, treat it as a technical location or targeting cue, not a reliable emotional reaction; ask what point the sender means.
Technical and diagrammatic; in ordinary chat it looks like a deliberate location or targeting mark, not a familiar reaction.
A lone ⌖ does not tell you which point the sender means.
