What 𝪈 means
It marks completion or a long pause in the text.
As SignWriting punctuation, it belongs to written text; it does not show how a sign is performed.
SignWriting grew from DanceWriting, Valerie Sutton’s system for recording dance movement. In 1974, researchers at the University of Copenhagen asked her to adapt it to record signs and gestures from video. Its use extended into teaching materials, newspapers, books and literature.

2Questions people ask
1Why does 𝪈 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Sutton SignWriting block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
