What 𝣊 means
It combines with other symbols to record a signed expression.
A handshape is the position of the fingers and thumb. SignWriting combines hand symbols with marks that can show orientation, movement, location, contact, and facial or body actions. These are arranged in two dimensions: where a symbol sits relative to the others contributes to the reading.
SignWriting writes the movements and shapes of signed languages directly, rather than spelling out a translation into a spoken language. It can be used for different signed languages; it does not make them one universal language. This handshape alone does not tell you which word a signer means.
