What 𑃴 means
It marks four in the Sora numeral series.
After a vision of 24 letters, Mangei Gomango devised the script in 1936. A cultural program promoted it as an improvement over the International Phonetic Alphabet, a notation linguists and missionaries used to write Sora sounds, and over Odia and Telugu scripts used by Hindus.
Sora Sompeng appears in religious writing and print. Ol Chiki and Warang Kshiti are separate scripts for Munda languages, not ancestors of Sora Sompeng.
