What 𑿬 means
It marks an amount spent. The traditional Tamil gloss poga means “spent.”
Unicode proposals from 2012–2017 grouped it with Tamil clerical marks for credit and totals, drawing on historical attestations. Those records support its ledger role but do not date its first appearance.
A specialized mark in Tamil bookkeeping.
It marks spending, not a general mathematical minus sign.

A font may lack it or draw it differently. The Unicode 18.0 chart says its sample glyph is a reference, not a required design.
