What 𖪸 means
A t made at the teeth with an extra puff of air.
In Muishvung its value is [t̪ʰ]. The mark under t means the tongue touches the teeth; raised ʰ signals the extra breath.
How did the Tangsa script develop?
Lakhum Mossang developed the alphabet to write Tangsa.
His 1990 design was independent of existing scripts. Tangsa covers varieties across northeast India and northwest Myanmar. Early use centered on Mossang’s Muishvung variety; a community committee broadened the inventory in 2019 for other varieties.
The project joined literacy with cultural preservation. Around 2020, handwritten examples included lessons, songs, stories and everyday sales records.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𖪸 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
