What 𘢹 means
It is a scholarly part, not a complete Tangut word. Tangut component 186 helps index and describe whole Tangut characters. Components can also appear in ideographic description sequences (IDS), a notation that shows how a character is built.
The Tangut script was created around 1036 under Western Xia, a medieval state in northwestern China, to write the Tangut language. It appears in official, private, and religious texts, including books, sutras, inscriptions, and manuscripts. It remained in use during the Yuan and Ming periods after Western Xia fell, then became obsolete.
Tangut and Chinese are different scripts for different languages. Some Tangut characters resemble Chinese characters, but appearance alone does not establish that two forms are the same character.
A technical label for Tangut script analysis and dictionary indexing.
186 is an index label, not a reading or translation.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘢹 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
