What 𘧗 means
It is a catalogue part for indexing and describing full Tangut characters.
Some Tangut components serve as dictionary radicals, or index headings. Systems differ; 472 is a catalogue label, not the sound or meaning of a full character.
Tangut writing outlived Western Xia
Created around 1036 under Western Xia’s first emperor, the script wrote Tangut, the local language of a northwestern Chinese kingdom. Official, legal, and Buddhist texts used it; writing continued under the Yuan and Ming after the kingdom fell in 1227.
Buddhist dhāraṇī, or ritual texts, were carved on Tangut-inscribed pillars erected in 1502.
