What 𘧟 means
No: it is a component used to describe Tangut characters. Scholars also use components to file characters in dictionaries. A component's role can vary in different characters, so it has no dependable standalone reading or translation.
In 1036, Emperor Li Yuanhao ordered Tangut writing for Western Xia state-building, including a Buddhist canon and a distinct identity from Song China. Neighboring Khitan peoples had created two scripts about a century earlier. Tangut writing drew visual and structural inspiration from Chinese but did not derive from it. A manuscript found at the Khara-Khoto ruins probably dates to the 12th or early 13th century.
Why does this Tangut glyph show as a box?
A blank or box can mean your font lacks Tangut coverage. A Tangut-capable font is needed, and different fonts may draw it differently.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘧟 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut Components block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
