What 𘨦 means
It is a catalogued structural part, not a Tangut word with its own translation.
The Sea of Characters, a Tangut dictionary from the mid-12th century, analyzed characters by their parts. The Tangut script, also called Xixia writing, served official and cultural needs in the Western Xia Empire (1038–1227). Its numbered component inventory brings together systems found in scholarly works and dictionaries in several languages.
Some Tangut components double as dictionary radicals—indexing labels that group full characters—and digital descriptions can combine components to show how a character is built. But the isolated 𘨦 does not tell you the meaning or pronunciation of a complete Tangut character.
