What 𘨰 means
It is a structural sign used to describe and index Tangut characters.
An IDS (Ideographic Description Sequence) shows how a character is built. The label “561” is a catalogue number, not a Tangut word.
Tangut, also called Xixia, was created around 1036 CE under Western Xia’s first emperor to write the Tangut language. Western Xia dictionaries (1038–1227) sorted by sound; modern dictionaries sort by a chosen component and stroke count. The Unicode component set combines forms from several dictionaries and studies.
Scholarly notation for Tangut analysis and lookup.
“Tooth” glosses 𘘄, not 𘨰 alone.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘨰 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
