What 𘩌 means
They help scholars describe and look up complete Tangut characters. Tangut characters are built from structural parts. Component inventories let dictionaries index and describe those full characters; some components also serve as lookup headings, called radicals. Unicode’s set combines systems used in different dictionaries because scholars had no single standard component list.
The Tangut script was created around 1036 under the first ruler of Western Xia, a kingdom in what is now northwestern China, to write the Tangut language. It remained in use after Western Xia fell and had become obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty. The component inventory is a scholarly reference system for analyzing complete Tangut characters.
