What 𘫎 means
It is a structural entry, not a standalone Tangut word. The Unicode Tangut component set helps scholars index and describe complete characters in the Tangut script. Components also appear in formal sequences that show how a full character is arranged.
Tangut writing was created around 1036–1037 as the Western Xia state built a distinct identity and a Buddhist canon, a collection of scriptures. It drew on Chinese and Khitan writing traditions; the Khitan were another people in the region. Tangut texts covered Buddhist, legal, Confucian, military, and literary subjects. This component set is a modern tool for analyzing the script, so 𘫎 has no separate word reading.

Questions people ask
2Why does 𘫎 show as a box?
Usually a font-coverage issue: the active font has no Tangut glyph for it.
Can an older Tangut font show a different character?
It can. Some Tangut fonts made before Unicode used CJK code positions that do not match Unicode's Tangut assignments, so text and font mappings can disagree.
