What 𘫤 means
It is a script component, not a word. Scholars use Tangut components to index and analyze larger characters. “741” is an inventory label; Unicode’s numbering is one of several component inventories, not a standard reading.
It can also appear in an Ideographic Description Sequence, notation that shows how a Tangut character is assembled from parts.
Introduced in 1036 under Li Yuanhao, Tangut writing supported Western Xia state-building and work on a Buddhist canon. It drew on Chinese principles for composing characters, but the script was not derived from Chinese. It was used for translated Chinese works and secular writing; Tangut texts continued after Western Xia fell in 1227.
A scholarly indexing component, not a conversational word.
If Tangut Component-741 shows as a blank box, the installed font likely lacks Tangut coverage.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘫤 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut Components block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
