What 𗁉 means
It describes something slanted or not straight. This Tangut slant character appears in a word; its neighboring characters help pin down whether “slant,” “leaning,” or “crooked” fits.
In 1036, Western Xia ruler Li Yuanhao ordered a script for Tangut as part of state-building, with a Tangut Buddhist canon among its main purposes. It was also used to translate Chinese books into Tangut. Two Tangut dictionaries from the 12th century, Sea of Writing and Homophones, list 𗁉. Tangut characters can resemble Chinese writing, but they form a distinct script for a different language.
Why does 𗁉 appear as a box?
That usually means the font cannot draw it. A font or text renderer without Tangut coverage may substitute a square for 𗁉. A font with Tangut support should display the character.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗁉 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
