What 𗂢 means

𗂢 means “even” or “equal” in Tangut.

Two 12th-century Tangut dictionaries, Wénhǎi and Tóngyīn, record 𗂢. Created in 1036, the script helped the Tangut state govern, translate Buddhist texts, and develop its own written identity; its design was influenced by Chinese writing.

Historical Tangut writing; use it in Tangut texts or discussion of the script.

Chinese influence on the script does not give 𗂢 a Chinese reading.
