What 𗃵 means
It means “palace” in Tangut. The Tangut script, also called Xixia, was created around 1036 to write the Tangut language of the Western Xia state; it served official and religious texts.
A 12th-century Tóngyīn (“Homophones”) reference records 𗃵. A Tangut court passage uses it for the inner palace or a palace hall.
The script was influenced by Chinese writing but remained separate. It continued in Yuan and Ming texts after Western Xia, then fell out of use.
