What 𗆣 means
𗆣 is glossed as “full” in Tangut. The Sea of Writing, a historical Tangut dictionary, lists it at 50.221.
Tangut was the language used in the Western Xia state. Its ruler, Li Yuanhao, ordered the script’s creation in 1036 as part of state-building. A Tangut collection of Buddhist scriptures was one planned use, alongside a distinct political identity. Tangut characters were influenced by Chinese writing in appearance and in how their parts are arranged, but Tangut is a separate script for a different language.
Why does 𗆣 show as a box?
The active font lacks a Tangut glyph for 𗆣. A square is a missing-glyph placeholder; the character remains in the text. A Tangut-capable font or an app with Tangut support can show its shape.
A historical written character tied to Tangut texts.

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
