What 𗇥 means
It is glossed “inclined to one side,” roughly “slanting.”
A Tangut dictionary indexes this entry as L2008-1159. Tangut was a distinct language with its own writing system, used by the Western Xia state in northwestern China; 𗇥 is Tangut, not a Chinese character.
The script was introduced in 1036 for Western Xia administration and Buddhist texts. It later carried official records, Buddhist works, and secular translations under Yuan and Ming rule. As of 2025, the latest datable Tangut material known is two stone pillars in Baoding, Hebei, engraved with Buddhist texts and erected in 1502.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗇥 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
