No; Tangut is a separate script with Chinese-inspired character forms.
Tangut was created around 1036 under the first emperor of Western Xia, a kingdom in present-day northwestern China, to write the Tangut language. Its characters appear in official, private, and religious texts, and remained in use after the Mongol conquest into the 16th century.
