What 𗇰 means
It is a Tangut verb glossed “to think of.” Unicode’s catalogue name identifies the character; Tangut lexicons supply its meaning.
The Tangut script was created around 1036 under Western Xia’s first emperor to write Tangut. Its complex, square forms drew on Chinese writing, but it is a distinct script. It served government, literature, and Buddhist translations. After the Mongols conquered Western Xia, the script remained in religious use; the latest known examples are stone pillars bearing Buddhist chants at Baoding, erected in 1502.
