What 𗋙 means
No: it identifies the glyph, not its word meaning. A blank box means the font lacks Tangut coverage.
Emperor Li Yuanhao ordered the Tangut script in 1036 for Western Xia state-building. Likely aims included a Tangut collection of Buddhist texts and a distinct identity from Song China. Tangut borrowed Chinese forms but did not descend from Chinese writing; Khitan neighbors had made two scripts about a century earlier, one largely based on Chinese. A Khara-Khoto fragment from Inner Mongolia, probably from the 12th or early 13th century, translates a Chinese text into Tangut.
Historical and scholarly; label it as Tangut.
Call it Tangut, not Chinese; Chinese writing inspired it.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗋙 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
