What 𗎷 means
It means “to encircle.” Li Fanwen’s Tangut dictionary translates 𗎷 as “to encircle”; the Unicode name identifies the code point, not its meaning.
The Tangut script was established in 1036 for the Western Xia dynasty’s official life and culture. Its texts included government records and translations from Chinese and Tibetan. Writing continued after the dynasty fell in 1227; the latest known Tangut inscription dates to 1502. These dates describe the script, not the first appearance of this character.
Use it in historical Tangut texts or discussions of the script.
Tangut is a distinct script; 𗎷 is not Chinese.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗎷 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
