What 𗐂 means
It is a Tangut character; its number is not its word.
For the meaning of 𗐂, use a Tangut dictionary or the surrounding text. The Unicode label for 𗐂 identifies the encoded character by its number; it does not translate the Tangut word. Tangut is a distinct script, even though its writing drew on Chinese and Khitan traditions.
Tangut writing outlived Western Xia
The Tangut script was created around 1036 under the first emperor of Western Xia as part of building a state and its cultural identity. It supported official writing and a Tangut version of the Buddhist canon. Its makers drew on Chinese and Khitan script traditions, but Tangut remained a distinct writing system.
After Western Xia fell, Tangut writing continued under Yuan and Ming rule. Tangut books preserve Buddhist scriptures, Chinese translations, Confucian and military works, and legal texts. The script became obsolete by the end of the Ming, but its surviving writing shows a literary life beyond the state's founding project.
Historical and scholarly; its context is Tangut-language texts or Unicode study.
Chinese and Khitan influence does not make this a Chinese character.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗐂 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
