It is glossed “neck.”
Li Fanwen’s Tangut–Chinese dictionary index lists 𗒬 as entry 4722 and equates it with entry 3467, glossed “neck.”
Created in 1036 for Western Xia, Tangut became a national script for Buddhist scripture and translations from Chinese and Tibetan. It remained in use under Yuan rule after the state fell in 1227; a Buddhist book printed in Tangut is dated 1247. These dates do not give the first appearance of 𗒬.
