What 𗔍 means
A Tangut dictionary glosses it as “industrious.” “Diligent” or “hardworking” conveys the sense in plain English; this character belongs to Tangut writing, not Chinese pronunciation.
Tangut writing was created around 1036 under Western Xia imperial authority for the Tangut language. It recorded state affairs and translations, including Buddhist and classical works; the earliest transmitted Tangut document is dated 1072.
The script remained in use after the Western Xia state fell in 1227; a surviving inscription is dated 1502. Its documented settings span state and religious texts, later inscriptions, and modern scholarship.
Historical and scholarly; its meaning is opaque without a Tangut gloss.

fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
