What 𗔵 means
It describes something damp or slightly wet.
Is 𗔵 Chinese?
No; it belongs to Tangut writing.
Western Xia’s court established the script around 1036 to record the Tangut language. The script was modeled on Chinese writing, but Tangut is a separate system. The earliest dated document is an official letter from 1072. Tangut writing served government, private life, and religion; Buddhist texts were translated and printed from woodblocks. After the Mongol conquest in 1227, it continued under Yuan and Ming rule before becoming obsolete by the Ming’s end.
