What 𗕖 means
It refers to a land-area measure. A Tangut dictionary pairs 𗕖 with 畝, the traditional Chinese unit for measuring land.
Western Xia created the Tangut script in the 11th century for government and state identity. An official document dated 1072 is its earliest known written record; later Buddhist texts and a 1502 inscription show the script outlived the state.
Unicode’s Tangut correction list records a glyph modification for 𗕖 in 13.0; fonts based on different versions may draw different outlines.
A historical character for specialist Tangut language or script contexts.
畝 is a Chinese gloss, not an alternate form of 𗕖.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗕖 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
