What 𗘎 means
Its Unicode name is an identifier, not a translation.
The Tangut script was created under Western Xia’s first emperor about 1036. A scholarly account links its design to Chinese and Khitan writing models, but Tangut is a distinct script. It served official, private, and religious writing, including Buddhist texts translated from Chinese and Tibetan.
After Western Xia fell to the Mongols, Tangut writing continued under Yuan and Ming rule and became obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty. A manuscript found at Khara-Khoto, a Tangut city site, probably dates to the 12th or early 13th century.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗘎 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
