What 𗙒 means
The script outlived the state.
In 1036, Li Yuanhao ordered court official Yeli Renrong to develop Tangut writing for state records. Tangut writing outlasted Western Xia’s fall in 1227: Buddhist inscriptions survive from 1345 and 1502, including a stone pillar carved with scripture. Its role shifted from state use to historical study.
