What 𗙑 means
A dictionary gloss says “breath”; one study says “sound, voice.” The study links that second reading to 𗠭, a Tangut verb meaning “shout.”
Tangut was created under the Western Xia (Xixia) emperor around 1036 to write its language. It remained in use under Yuan and Ming rule, then fell out of use. Tangut texts range from official and private writing to religious works; the script resembles Chinese writing but is separate.
Why does 𗙑 show as a box?
Your font may lack a Tangut glyph for it. Without a font that includes 𗙑, a device may show a missing-glyph box.
A character from a historical writing system, not a conversational reaction.
“Breath” is one gloss, not a settled everyday meaning.

1Why does 𗙑 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
