What 𗛻 means
It means “maroon” in Tangut.
That gloss names a Tangut word, not a general sign for the color.
Tangut writing was created under the first emperor of the Western Xia kingdom around 1036 for official and cultural work. It later served official, private, and religious texts, becoming obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty in China. Its character structure was influenced by Chinese writing, but Tangut is a distinct script.
