What 𗝌 means
𗝌 means “to tie” in Tangut.
Tangut dictionary entry 4393 gives rjor as its reconstructed reading—a scholarly estimate written in Latin letters.
The Tangut script was created in 1036 for the Western Xia state, to write Tangut and support translation of Buddhist and Chinese texts. Tangut followed neighboring Khitan states in creating a native script; it drew on Chinese writing principles but did not derive from Chinese characters. A Tangut manuscript from the Khara-khoto archaeological site is probably from the 12th or early 13th century.
How do I type 𗝌?
In Xunpin, type sjax.
Xunpin is a Tangut input scheme for Rime, a keyboard framework; it maps sjax to 𗝌. sjax is an input code, while rjor is the scholarly reconstructed reading. If the font lacks Tangut coverage, input can work while the character appears as a blank box.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗝌 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.

𗝌\1774CWhy is 𗝌 a box on my screen?
fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
