What 𗞏 means
In Tangut, 𗞏 means “a tongue of flame.”
In 1036, Western Xia (Xixia) ordered Tangut writing into use for state correspondence and Buddhist translation; records in the script survive from the 11th century. These dates describe the script and its records, not this character’s first appearance. Tangut writing drew on Chinese and Khitan traditions but remained a distinct script.
Historical and specialist.
If your font lacks Tangut support, 𗞏 may appear as a box; fonts that support it can draw it differently.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗞏 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
