What 𗟩 means
It marks the sound “ra,” not a translated word. This Tangut character was used for phonetic transcription, including of Sanskrit, a classical South Asian language. “Ra” is its scholarly sound value: it tells you how the character was read, not what an English word means.
Tangut writings survive from the Western Xia period: woodblock editions of the sound-reference work Homophones date to 1038–1227, and Tangut Buddhist material continued after 1227.
Why does 𗟩 look different in some fonts?
The font draws its shape; Unicode does not fix one design. Tangut characters can vary between fonts, and a system without Tangut font support may show a box.
Historical and specialist: it belongs in Tangut studies and text preservation.
“Ra” is a reading, not an English translation.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗟩 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
