What 𗟮 means
It is the Tangut character for “cup.”
Tangut was the language of Western Xia, a kingdom in northern China, and it had its own script. In 1036, ruler Li Yuanhao ordered that script as part of building a distinct state; creating a Tangut collection of Buddhist scriptures was a central aim. Its design drew on Chinese writing, while earlier Khitan scripts offered a model for a state writing system.
Tangut books include Buddhist scripture, Chinese works translated into Tangut, military writing, and literature.
