What 𗠮 means
Use an input method editor (IME) with a Tangut scheme. An IME turns keystrokes into character choices; each Tangut scheme determines how you enter them.
RIME (an input-method framework) offers Tangut schemes: Xunpin uses an estimated historical Tangut pronunciation, while Tangut Cangjie uses character parts.
What does 𗠮 mean?
Its Unicode label identifies an entry, not its meaning. The label gives no Tangut reading or English gloss. Consult a Tangut dictionary or the surrounding text to find its meaning; the strokes are not a dependable translation key.
When was Tangut writing created?
Around 1036, under the first emperor of Western Xia. The Tangut script was made to write the Tangut language, used in a state in what is now northwestern China. Tangut texts include official, private, and religious works, including Buddhist texts; the script remained in use during the Yuan and Ming dynasties after Western Xia fell.
