What 𗢾 means
It means “alone” in Tangut.
Western Xia, a kingdom in northwest China, established Tangut script by imperial decree around 1036 for official writing and translations of Buddhist and Chinese works.
Tangut writing outlasted Western Xia; the latest known dated texts are from 1502. Manuscripts, bilingual word lists, and dictionaries preserve its vocabulary.
Is 𗢾 Chinese?
No. Tangut script resembles Chinese writing and may have been modeled on it, but the two scripts are mutually unreadable. Knowing Chinese does not reveal 𗢾’s Tangut meaning.
Historical and scholarly; a reference to Tangut texts or typography.

1Why does 𗢾 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
