What 𗥱 means
The Unicode name identifies a code position, not the Tangut reading.
For Tangut characters in the Xixia script, Unicode assigns algorithmic names built from the script and code point. They identify a glyph in software but do not supply its pronunciation or translation.
Is 𗥱 Chinese?
No; its square forms use Chinese-style design, but the script writes Tangut.
Li Yuanhao, a Tangut ruler, commissioned Yeli Renrong and other officials to design the script in 1036–38 as a mark of distinct state identity. Tangut writing appeared in records, inscriptions, and translated books. It continued after Western Xia fell in 1227; the latest dated example is a Buddhist stele from 1502.
