What 𗥲 means
No; it is a code-point label, not a Tangut gloss.
Western Xia ruler Li Yuanhao ordered the script around 1036 for state-building and Buddhist texts. The Tangut script took visual and structural inspiration from Chinese writing but remained distinct. Neighboring Khitan rulers had created scripts about a century earlier, offering a precedent rather than a direct ancestor.
The earliest surviving official Tangut document dates to 1072. After Western Xia fell to Mongol forces in 1227, Tangut writing continued in official, private, and religious texts. A stone inscription from 1502 is a later example.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗥲 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
