What 𗬧 means
It means “to burn.”
Tangut is the language this square script was made to write; 𗬧 records a Tangut word, not a Chinese one.
Li Yuanhao, founder of Western Xia, promoted Tangut script for records and translations in 1036; scholars read it as a marker of Tangut political identity. A surviving official dispatch from 1072 is the earliest extant Tangut-script writing identified in scholarship. A Tangut–Chinese dictionary preface from 1190 says the scripts differ in form but share roots. After Western Xia fell in 1227, Buddhist Tangut texts kept circulating under Yuan rule.
A Tangut word written as text, not an emoji reaction.
Its square shape may look Chinese, but it belongs to a separate writing system for Tangut.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗬧 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
