What 𗬸 means
It means “yarn.”
The Tangut script was developed around 1036 to write the Tangut language for the Western Xia state. It appeared in government records, schools, and Buddhist translations. It remained in use after the state fell in 1227; the last known example dates to 1502.
Why does 𗬸 look Chinese?
Tangut writing drew on Chinese script conventions, but has its own characters.
Tangut characters are square and built from components, which can look familiar to readers of Chinese. That visual influence does not make 𗬸 a Chinese character.
