Is 𗮌 Chinese?
No. 𗮌 is Tangut; Chinese influenced its script.
By the late 1030s, the Western Xia state had established Tangut writing for its language. The script drew on Chinese and Khitan writing traditions; the Khitan were a neighboring people with their own script. Tangut writing served administration, legal works, and Buddhist translations. A Buddhist inscription dated 1502 shows that it remained in use after Western Xia fell.
